I’m Troy, I have been a carpenter for 12 years now and run my own carpentry business so I am hard on the tools every day, like you!
I have done it all from new builds, renovations and custom furniture. I have always had a creative side and enjoyed finding ways to make jobs easier and less time-consuming.

This hat was initially designed to solve the problem of wanting my pencil behind my ear but when wearing earmuffs I couldn’t put my pencil there.

When at a friend’s auto upholstery business we decided to play around with some ideas and instantly we liked this idea of a pencil on our hats. This led to many months of prototyping and trying out different designs and materials, which led to this absolute beauty of a tradie hat, that you see here today. We won’t stop here! We hope to have a range of different hats for different trades and hobbies, the sky is the limit and we will keep on thinking and expanding as we grow!
